I. Read Lay, Ch. 9 on "Information Management" and the article "The Internet" (GT Alumni Magazine). Then write a two-page (double-spaced with one-inch margins) summary of the article. You should emphasize the article's main points but also include specific details where they are important. In short, distill the article into a summary that could serve you in the future.
II. Print and read A Beginner's Guide to HTML. This document will probably confuse you, but just try to get a basic understanding of HTML. Bring the printout to class once we are in the Mac lab. Write a limited descriptive abstract (see Lay p. 260) of this document.
